The River Oaks neighbourhood of Oakville is located south of Dundas, north of Upper Middle, east of Neyagawa, and west of Trafalgar. This mature family neighbourhood has increased in value over the years due to newer high-end neighbourhoods like Woodhaven, Oak Park & others. 

Many of the area's traditional homes have been transformed through renovations over the years, adding tremendous value to the neighbourhood. 

Most homes in the area are surrounded by professional services and amenities including a Loblaws Superstore, Walmart, Longos, Canadian Tire and other big retailers. River Oaks is a neighbourhood very similar to Glen Abbey, providing similar amenities, services, and quality of schools. For both neighbourhoods, the 403 and the 407 highways offer immediate access to Toronto.
