Glen Abbey, Oakville

The Glen Abbey neighbourhood in Oakville is bordered to the South by QEW, to the North by Upper Middle, to the West by Bronte Road, to the East by Sixteen Mile Creek. 

Glen Abbey has a great mix of homes ranging from condominiums to large detached homes on large wooded lots. 

The Glen Abbey Golf Course anchors this exciting community, which also features many other amenities for those with sports on the mind. 

At the corner of Third Line and Glen Abbey Gate is the Glen Abbey Community Center, which includes skating rinks, a swimming pool, squash courts and a library. Right next door, is the Oakville Gymnastics Club. There many schools and parks, perfect for families. 

Glen Abbey Recreation Centre located on Third Line just south of Upper Middle Road serves the community and offers fitness classes, skating arenas, swimming pools, squash courts and a library. There are many outdoor parks in the area, including West Oak Trails Park containing two soccer fields, a baseball diamond, change room and on-site washroom facilities. 

Homes in the area contain a good mix of usage including everything from townhouses to semi’s and 3-5 bedroom detached homes. Lot sizes are generally smaller than the more established neighbourhoods of Oakville.
