Westmount, Oakville

West Oak Trails and Westmount are in Oakville’s Northwest region. Westmount is bordered to the south by Upper Middle Road, to the north by Dundas, to the west by Bronte Road, and to the east by Third Line. Where as West Oak Trails is bordered to the west by Third Line and to the east by Dorval Drive. 

Most of the homes in West Oak Trails and West Mount were first built in the early-mid 1990’s with most having been built in the early 2000's. 

The area is popular with young families and there are lots of children in the area, resulting in a very-family community with many amenities to suit including parks, trails, daycares and schools. 

Glen Abbey Recreation Centre located on Third Line just south of Upper Middle Road serves the community and offers fitness classes, skating arenas, swimming pools, squash courts and a library. There are many outdoor parks in the area, including West Oak Trails Park containing two soccer fields, a baseball diamond, change room and on-site washroom facilities. 

Homes in the area contain a good mix of usage including everything from townhouses to semi’s and 3-5 bedroom detached homes. Lot sizes are generally smaller than the more established neighbourhoods of Oakville.
